Hello all, I just want to say thanks to everyone who helped & contributed to what I believe has been an excellent day. Special thanks goes to Dan & Alison Day, Pete Grant and Mick Waite, without whom we would not have had such excellent food. I also want to thanks all of those that organised stalls, I think everything enjoyed them, seeing people covered in egg was especially funny. Shame on those that couldn't be bothered. Lastly, I want to thanks all those that played today. Starting with the under 9's, 8's & 7's, we managed to play a game though we had no opposition and it was great to see the future of the club playing the basics of rugby so well. Then the 2's & 3's, nearly 40 players wanting to play for the 3's and such a close game. And finally, the ones. Well done guys for an excellent season, don't be too despondent and keep them chins high, you have done us all proud and set a great example to all those kids who watched you bust a gut. THANKYOU!! A reliable source tells me that the plans for the new leisure centre were deferred last night. My source is un sure at the moment whether there will be the finance to re submit the plans again in the current year.

Well one more week to go and we can all have a well earned rest and reflect on a very good season. However, there are two training sessions left before then so please make every effort to be at the club tonight and Thursday 7pm start to ensure we finish the season in style. Don't forget we have the Funday this Saturday starting at 11am up until the 1's kick off. The minis play Oadby Wyggs minis from about 12 noon and the 2's vs the 3's play from 1pm. There will be a pig roast & BBQ. To finish the evening off we have the end of season party where we be celebratinga wonderful season!! Hope to see you all at the club this Saturday for what should be a brilliant day for all players & supporters of R&HRUFC!!!

For anyone who is interested. This week's fixtures are as follows: 1st XV v Wellingborough KO 3pm. 2nd XV v Sharnbrook KO 3pm Colts Xv V Olney KO 1.30pm. ALL GAMES ARE HOME FIXTURES!!

For any 3rd team players to visit the site, you have a game on Saturday v Kempston. The game was requested by your captain and i quote ' in preperation for the 2s v 3s fixture' With this in mind if you are available on saturday, and haven't already let Norfy know could you please do so.
