Morning All,

A reminder to you all that training continues this week on Tuesday AND Thursday at the club from 7pm. All players are expected to attend in this important phase over the next few weeks in the build up to our 1st league game on the 11th September. It will be pattern and team play related so we all have a handle on what we should all be doing come the 11th.

Selection for the BBOB game on Saturday will take place this evening and will posted out tomorrow. Please update me if youre availability has changed.

Finally, it is Dougs 30th birthday on Saturday evening at the club from 8pm. He is struggling for numbers as he doesn't have many mates, so you're all welcome to come along and join in the chicken based snack celebrations!

If you have any questions or concerns on the above then please let me know.

I look forward to seeing you all this evening.

Regards

Dan

Morning All,

There will be an open training session on Wednesday 18th August at the Club on the 1st XV Pitch taken by Martin Hynes and Nick Walshe (Bedford Blues Coaches). All Senior players are welcome to attend to participate or to watch the session.

This is a great opportunity for players and coaches to come along and see how top class coaches operate and to pick up some rugby knowledge, either by taking part or by observing the session.

The session will start at 7pm so please be there, changed and ready to start by then.

The bar will be open afterwards to share a beer or two with Martin and Nick, please make them feel welcome.

Senior training also continue tonight from 7pm, all players welcome.

Any questions then please let me know.

Great session tonight with everyone showing a great level of committment, top work coach.

A few outside candidates really forcing themselves into a starting role come the season, which is great news for the club.

Just wish it would rain, this ground is too hard for an old man like me to land on!!

Many thanks to all those who took part yesterday in the mixed tag tournament. It was great to see the wide range of players involved and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Thanks to:
Marissa, Cherie, Kerry (Wellingboro), Paul, Shane, Ben S and Tony for sorting out teams.
Tim, Rob and Pete for refereeing.
Dan for marking the pitches.
Alison and Dan for the BBQ.
Stenna and Ben C for the deforestation of the patio.
George, Tank and Liam for the bar.
Big thanks to Seedy for making it all happen, I may have had the idea but he did all the work.

Dad has asked me to let everyone know that he is recovering, all be it slowly, from his heart attack. He would also like to thank everyone for their kind words of support and offers of help for the family.

Afternoon all,

A reminder that training continues on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm at the Club.

Training moves into a new phase this week with the emphasis on team plays/patterns and far more rugby based work.

I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.

Gents,

I would like to apologise for my lack of attendance at training in the last few weeks. Hopefully work will have calmed down a little after Wednesday and I'll be back at training on Thurdsay.

Morning Gents,

It's your weekly reminder about pre-season training again tonight!

Training continues this evening with more of Terry, Ian and Phil's torture sessions. There will be plenty of fitness work, rugby skills, and maybe even a little fun along the way. It would be great to see as many as possible training both tonight AND Thursday from 7pm.

For those of you that fancy a little liquid refreshment after the session to quench your thirst then the bar is open afterwards.

I look forward to seeing all your happy, smiling faces tonight.

Dan
